At work

Another excellent photo essay on The Big Picture blog. This one contains photos of people at work, in brick factories, creating candy, making toilet bowls, etc. I worked in a factory in high school and college to help pay for my college education. It was a meat packing plant in upstate New York. Working there was boring and repetitive but did have two positive aspects: 1. physical labor keeps you fit, 2. after I punched out each day I didn’t have to think about work until I returned the next day.
